Never Forget How Far We Have Come

I was not even a teenager and I KNEW I was gay when I saw this on TV (my parents were out of the house at the time....don't recall where).

It's a full hour long but I watch it now and can't help but cry with happiness how far we have come in my lifetime! May no young boy or girl ever feel the shame we ONCE felt!

'67, I had just arrived in SF, everything was happening, the war was on, Hippies, and yes, gay picket lines, I worry about the people who never lived through this, who think we always had rights.
