2:05: get in line outside
2:20: id checked and in the waiting room
2:40: id checked again and in with a clerk. she was very sweet and knowledgeable and got me through in about 15 minutes.
50 minutes and 43 bucks later, i have a gram and a candy bar. it's nice for the novelty, but i went out of necessity. smooth operation, though. they even had bottled water for people waiting outside.
grabbing a bite and a beer then i'll have a few squares of the candy bar and take a walk.

(39,358 posts)I can't wait till the people here get their shit together. I hope that in November we at least approve medical cannabis. I don't need it now, but it would've been great when I started chemo (next time, I'm getting it, legal or not).

(714 posts)but can you comment on legal shop prices in comparison to street prices ($25/quarter when I lived there)? I ask because this is one of the issues I'm worried about that might destabilize the legal industry. If street prices are better, then the shops just wont do very well.

(24,146 posts)about 60 bucks plus tax for an eighth and i can get a quarter for 65 elsewhere. shop quality is good but it's not like i'm smoking ditch weed otherwise.
the shops here are booming, but i don't think their primary clientele is people like me who already have a standing relationship, rather people who might not be smoking otherwise or simply have no where else to go.
pretty much exactly what I was afraid of. Ah well, it still seems to be going well so far.
