2 drunk guys plus "showcasing" equals?

Isn't that cute? The attorney invented a new word for "fucking around with a loaded gun while intoxicated".

Brandon Daniel Dilucente testified Thursday at the manslaughter trial of Matthew Magdowski that he yelled, “Don’t pull the trigger, it’s loaded,” to Joe Saroli twice seconds before a gun changed hands from Saroli to Magdowski, and Magdowski shot Saroli in the hip.

Dilucente said he warned Saroli after he saw him appear to take the .380 caliber handgun out of a kitchen drawer, “rack (load)” the gun and was “showcasing” it.

It appeared Saroli was mimicking fictional character James Bond and making “pachoo” sounds like a bullet firing, he said.

Excellent, the law and criminal justice system appears to be working as intended. Additionally, while the article indicated a manslaughter charge (and dismissal of the second degree murder charge), the defendant did not seem to be accused of violating any specific firearm statutes.

Since I doubt you posted this local news story from Clinton, MI to discuss general semantics, the vernacular choices concerning the loading or carrying of firearms, or the tactics of defense counsel in a criminal trial, all of which have nothing to do with the SOP of this forum, I'm curious as to the point of your post here, and welcome any relevant discussion.
