Danbury man arrested for going to gun range drunk

DANBURY, Conn. (WTNH) – A Danbury man is facing charges after police say he showed up at a crowded gun range with a gun drunk. Around 2:00 Sunday afternoon police got a call to the Wooster Mountain gun range. The manager said a man at the range was drunk. Police say Patrick Straub, 38 of Danbury was having trouble walking and smelled of alcohol. Police took Straub’s gun and ammunition, and took him away from the crowded range to give him a field sobriety test, which they say he failed.

Ok. You cannot go to a firing range drunk -- a controlled environment designed for shooting. Buzz Clik Jan 2016 #3

This sounds like someone who knows how to run a gun range safely.

Good job, keeping it safe for the other customers.
