(6,185 posts)These things are a trite who's who of privilege and hypocrisy.
Just like your racist hero Bloomberg, she lives in a bubble surrounded by armed security teams.
So it's OK for her and him but not for the peasants.

(6,185 posts)So all you have to do to make it OK to have a gun is claim you feel threatened by some C-3 not for profit organization?
What an easy scam to run.
No wonder gun control people seem so stupid, they'll fall for any feeble excuse.
I'm sure you can use your google fu and document cases of the NRA threatening specific celebrities, right?

1. A person who believes that they are superior to others (and thus deserve favored status) because of their intellect, social status, wealth, or other factors.
Couric: Guns for me - but not for thee!

Truth: people who speak out against the gun lobby, gun culture or gun owners are going to be the subject of ridicule; often in the form of bumper stickers, T-shirts, internet arguments and lots and lots of roll eyes.

(1,558 posts)They should be prosecuted for that.
FWIW I do not see the NRA anywhere. I see a militia logo.
I can't discuss militias because I have no information on them.

(6,185 posts)Much easier to just blame the evil NRA than actually check your facts.
Besides anything any gun owner ever says is the fault of the NRA.

(21,000 posts)" should have broken his damn arms" advising what a gun control proponent suggested the white man should have done to the elderly black gun carrier the white man attacked?
Or " people who carry guns should be shot and their bodies left to rot in the street as a warning to others"
It seems gun owners are wise to provide protection for themselves and their family members
I suppose those are just words on the internet and shouldn't be taken seriously...

(17,502 posts)it is because of basic elitism. Gun control is for the masses, not the activists.

(12,194 posts)In the history of the debate on gun control, how many people - legislators or otherwise - have been physically attacked, or killed, because they support gun control?
We'll wait right here for the plethora of examples you're sure to come up with.
On the other hand, if we gun owners/rights supporters were as bloodthirsty as you lot like to make out, there wouldn't be any of you left.
Enjoy your corner.

(21,000 posts)people are more valuable than you.
That is why progressives support guns for the elite, money = speech, banks that are to big to fail (or be prosecuted) etc.
