Make no mistake folks, when they say they just want "reasonable restrictions", this is precisely what they mean.

It is also worth noting, that not a one of them seem to have the courage to even make an attempt to defend it here.

And they call us cowards...

Their "prodigal" poster is back from a self imposed exile and is apparently running the whole echo chamber now, complete with all the endearing and intelligent old fashioned name calling, stereotyping and undeserved arrogance.

The entire group of (three or four) gun control fans are just way too busy patting each other on the back and applauding proposed legislation from back benchers to bother responding to anything calling for thought.

To have someone there since the hosts can't be bothered to visit or simply forgot about the group. A self appointed volunteer is enforcing purity.

The machine that promulgates the "big lie" can not function without a pilot. All that is really required is people who are useful, although even idiots could do it.

The latest edition from the machine:

U.S. Ban on Gun Research Continues Despite Deadly Shootings

For nearly two decades, the U.S. government has declined to fund research into gun violence.

http://www.democraticunderground.com/126210670

Of course, the poster KNOWS that what they posted isn't true. This topic has been debated and proof offered up, and the "ban" talking point destroyed, time and time again.

Actual text of the legislation that the big lie claims "bans" gun violence research:

“None of the funds made available for injury prevention and control at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention may be used to advocate or promote gun control.”

The pseudo-religious zealotry with which some of these folks operate, is disturbing.

It doesn't say what they expected it to ...

Sooooo quick, sweep it under the rug and chant that "Evil NRA" meme a little louder and hope no one notices you are either lying through your teeth again or dumb as a stump.

Where one cranky old prospector (usually played by Gabby Hayes) comes down from the mountains and moves into the abandoned ghost town, then spends all his time talking to himself and his imaginary buddies in the empty saloon.

It was empty, he moved in and made himself emperor and Senior Apparatchik.
