What Katie Couric did isn't bias or selective editing. It is a crime against journalism.

In a free society, there is no room for journalistic malfeasance. No matter what side of any issue you are on, allowing a journalist to cheat and lie in order to shape public opinion according to their personal agenda is a grave danger to the freedoms we enjoy. Even if you are pro-gun control, as a liberal and a Democrat you should be OUTRAGED at this type of behavior.

I don't want to mix it up here but the Washington Examiner wouldn't be my go-to source on media bias Gidney N Cloyd Jun 2016 #1

Normally most of us here would accept bias, but in this case they're stepping on the 2A. ileus Jun 2016 #5

True, the Examiner is biased. So is NPR, Fox, NBC, CBS, ABC. Every media outlet is biased. The difference between the media in the UK and here is that there they are honest about it.

Is that the likes of CNN, MSNBC and others are ignoring this story, so hard to cite them as a source.

If there is a bow-up in journalistic ethics, gross reporting errors, poor scholastic work, etc., which is detrimental to the gun control "cause," one must go to whatever source may be available in order to find out more, or to find out about it at all. MSM is all-in for gun control, and has been for nearly two generations. In general, MSM covers its ass en masse when it deals with gun bans.
