Most banners never think past "killing machine", "gunhumper", guns are mean type BS.

This one from a poster who wanted to suggest a 6-round capacity on all guns.

Why is it, though, that a pro-RKBA Dem is asking it for Pete's sake?!?!

Wouldn't you think the pro-restriction supporters would be begging for this, FFS?!

First, the control minded folks can't stop themselves from over reaching. We've seen it time and time again.

"Hey, the Joyce Foundation surveys show we have a lot of support for this UBC thing, so let's just tack on a bunch of other things that nobody will probably notice and pass them all". Then they just can't understand why all that support evaporated suddenly, when "all they wanted to do" was sneak in a ban on the most popular selling rifle in the country.

Second, duplicity. Every time we go through this fire drill, the e-mails go out from all of them asking for extra donations to help them "fight the NRA".

IMHO, sure there are some true believers, but that's why some of them become co-sponsors late in the game.
