Gun Control & RKBA
Related: About this forumA response to a law that seems to keep changing every few days.
People within the gun rights community have been paying attention to the AWB debacle in MA. A number of them have been noticing that the goalposts seem to keep moving around. So they responded, by adding the web page to a change logger website.
Here is the link to the log:

How is it that this can continue to evolve without the input of the state legislature?
When did the state of MA grant the AG that authority?

(6,185 posts)Since any "Real Dem" would obviously demand more gun control, or so we've been frequently advised by our moral and ethical betters.
But, I'm sure that if she loses the next election for office, it will somehow all be the NRA's fault ... and ours of course.

(6,185 posts)They're both following the pattern of finding an issue, playing it up as a crisis for maximum publicity.
Then declaring that no one but they can fix this horrible problem.

(2,375 posts)It really frightens me that Democrats are so completely oblivious to their role in the polarization that is afflicting our nation, and the damage that results. Sure, the far right needs almost no help in becoming ever more radicalized -- but the truth of the matter is that we've managed to toss petrol on the fire with our dishonesty and stupidity regarding gun violence.
I'm reminded of Jon Stewart's great line when he delivered his now-famous beat-down of the Crossfire buffoons: Stop, stop, stop, stop hurting America. The same line could honestly be delivered to The Controllers.......though needless to say, the words would fall on deaf ears.
Edited to correct Stewart quote
