What are your nominations for firearm related Democratic vote losers?

What gun issue turns folks away from voting Democratic?
What firearm related campaign issue from a Democrat, in your opinion, is a big vote loser?

My first nomination: federal registration of all firearms.

Anyone and every one can see the ridiculousness of restrictions on appearance.

Thumb holes? Grip angles? Really, making a rifle look different is hardly logical.

These regs just invite derision from EVERYBODY

"Banning" rifles due to features which have nothing to do with lethality is so overtly dishonest and moronic everyone who knows guns sees this as pure culture war. And it hurts us BIG TIME in multiple ways. I'm so fed up I'm not donating -- not even 25 clams -- to D party candidates any more, as I feel my $$ are just being pissed away with the party's assinine "gun control" measures. Same goes for donating time......and I doubt very much that I'm alone. This BS is a huge de-motivator.

But if he manages to sign the HPA I'll be happy at least something positive came from his monstrous presidency. I fear he's going to be in office long enough to do irreparable harm but not long enough to sign that one beneficial piece of legislation.

The Hearing Protection Act would take suppressor off the NFA registry. To buy one you would simply need to pass a standard background check like you do when purchasing a pistol. Trump Jr is supporting it and a lot of the gun sites and blogs give it a good chance to pass.

Large, "high capacity" handguns.
Long, powerful, optic-topped rifles.
Short, intermediate powered rifles.
Magazine capacity/detachable mag/bayonet lug, etc.
Short barreled shotguns.

Doesn't leave much the banners can approve, does it?
