Walk away
(9,494 posts)his vehement objections to The Donald's overblown claims to being worth many billions of dollars. I didn't get the whole story and this is just a guess. Joe & Meeka were blathering about Trump's challenge to O'Donnell to each bet a year's salary on who is right. Then the whole panel started to pull O'Donnell apart because their new meme is that Trump is really right about everything and would make a great president.

(24,738 posts)How dare that joke of a morning show host (& his "cutesy" co-hostess who gets by on making childish faces) treat a co-worker like that.
I'll watch clips of this show for purposes such as this, but I wouldn't watch it if I were paid to lower my standards.

(75,480 posts)I really don't watch LO that much either although I would hate to see him replaced by another god awful prison show either.

(113,131 posts)with conservatives who kiss his ass because he's their kingmaker.
MSNBC should have dumped him long ago, but he's their wingnut darling, giving them "balance" early in the morning when most wingnuts get their daily dose of nonsense before they go to work.
Let's hope they wake up to what this guy is in time before he wrecks them completely.

(1,278 posts)I am not normally awake at that time of day, nor if the TV is on, generally not turned on MJ, I tend to watch one of literally 6 local TV AM news shows, MXP (Robin is off this week), or New Day (Michaela is off today).
What the MJ crew doesn't understand is Lawrence O'Donnell's TV background in series TV The West Wing from the production level and knows salaries and syndication more than anyone else that has a TV show, this includes Brian Stelter, Howard Kurtz, or any other "TV Critic". But why let facts get in the way of a great narrative for a certain segment of the audience .
It so happens that Lawrence was "discovered" on MSNBC by Keith Olbermann (who is about to be a free agent). Coincidence?
