BAD PRESS NOT NEW

Thought some may enjoy reading this quote from 150 years ago. Seeing the level of senseless violence rise by the month, the effects of right wing hate radio, has fulfilled it's prediction. The press is the enabler of most lies designed to divide our people, so that the gangsters in all levels of government can prevail. Most are not aware that it has already been decided by Federal court - the FOX case - that we have no laws forbidding blatant lies by media, be it paper, TV, radio or internet.

“The daily press is the evil principle of the modern world, and time will only serve to disclose this fact with greater and greater clearness. The capacity of the newspaper for degeneration is sophistically without limit, since it can always sink lower and lower in its choice of readers. At last it will stir up all those dregs of humanity which no state or government can control.”

― Søren Kierkegaard
