"Ramped up iPhone" doesn't begin to cover what this really is.
AI that is with you is not with you; you are with IT.
If one wants a life influenced by AI, one will probably be inured to dependency, and likely lose one's freedom. How one pays to constantly pit one's judgment/will against the AI's information/advice is a huge shift in human control.
Has anyone thought of the ramifications of this AI use in government, by either political party? or both? the ability to talk with foreign donors? foreign assets on US soil? At state levels?

"So, tell me Al, what are you working on?"
Me: "That's nice, Al, keep up the good work."
About a year ago, I was interested in this think called, artificial intelligence. So I goes on Wikipedia and there is Bill's name as one of the original researchers on A.I.

(38,858 posts)One has to wonder what standing AI will have before rule of law. Will AI be granted fictional personhood standing like corporations? Because if/when it causes loss, harm and damage to humans, who knows how that will be dealt with by law. Will investors suffer penalties? It will be a whole new area of law enforcement, probably. But who knows. Maybe even legal AI will determine the penalties of other AI.
