Related: About this forumI am totally baffled by this careless reporting.
When I glanced at this article, I thought some cattle were stolen near the small town of Alma, which it's along the Mississippi River in Pepin County. But then I read that the Jackson County sheriff was involved and the suspect is being held in Sparta, which is in Monroe County. The article has the crime, the suspect, the jail, and the cops scattered all over the state. Good grief. Sure, this is just a small piece about a minor crime, but a little effort at accuracy would be nice.

Oops. I have egg on my face. Alma is in Buffalo County, not Pepin County. At least I Iooked it up.

Your choice, of course. The location for self-delete isn't all that intuitive, so just wanted to provide the info.

I just read an article that was a mess. Looking deeper it seems that the service admitted to using AI to "create the basic content" but stated that it was later reviewed by a "live" reporter.
I'm glad it wasn't a dead one.
It was already a mess.
