They have chosen to continue being internally divisive at an extremely important moment when we need to show the unity that Harris keeps calling for.

We should probably just keep focused on our support for ALL Blue candidates and ignore the swipes being taken at any fellow Democrats.

You're concerned about a radio show/podcast with a limited audience having a fringe candidate on for a few minutes once in 8 years? She ran for President as a Democrat. So a Democrat supporting show had her on so his Democratic listeners could hear how crazy she is so they won't be tempted to vote for her. I would call that doing a public service. The fact that he has never has her on again shows he doesn't support her.

To compare that to MSM Cable Networks showing Trump Rallies over and over again is insane. There is no comparison.

Are you concerned that they report on her and her campaign or have her on the program when MSM refuses to do so. That's kind of what DN is and has always been all about. Or have you documentation of them donating their donors money to her campaign. Then there is this:

With the following description:
"Aug 22, 2024
At a campaign rally on August 19, 2024 in Chicago during the DNC with former Seattle Socialist council member Kshama Sawant, Green presidential candidate Jill Stein called out the program Democracy Now for censoring her campaign for president during the entire Democratic Party convention. "Democracy Now" and its host Amy Goodman refused to cover the other minor parties along with the Greens. Here program refused to present any segment or interview with the largest left alternative on the ballot in the United States which was the role of corporate media during the Democratic Party National Convention."

I do not advocate voting for Jill Stein or any third party candidate in this election nor do I endorse or support their campaigns, Just wondering where you're coming from with this. Please clarify your position.

I don’t want any magats on the air. Anywhere. Any time.

I’m simply wondering why Goodman is putting Stein on the air. Obviously the opposite side to magats but still creates division rather than supporting our dem ticket.

From that you said that Hartmann "supported her" as a candidate, which is false. She wasn't givin lots of airtime" as you stated, so that was false. So your only defense here is to post falsehoods, and keep posting even after being informed they were false. Obviously you have an agenda and the truth be damned. We don't need to do here on DU what the other side does all the time and rightly gets called out for it.

And I'm not afraid of any journalist interviewing or reporting on any of the fringe candidates if she/he's asking legitimate questions.
I'm a Democrat. I want to hear what others have to say. When learn a lot by listening to our opponents - like what their talking points are and how they're presenting them. It makes it easier to counter their arguments. It doesn't cause me to believe them.

From: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Democracy_Now!

Democracy Now Productions, the independent media nonprofit organization that produces Democracy Now!,[2] is funded entirely through contributions from listeners, viewers,[6] and foundations such as the Park Foundation,[7] Ford Foundation,[8] Lannan Foundation,[9] and the J.M. Kaplan Fund.[10][11] It has over $36 million in assets and about a $10 million annual budget.[12] Democracy Now! does not accept advertisers, corporate underwriting or government funding.[13]

I would say that they are a reputable independent news outlet. Unlike most of MSM, they are not compromised by possible conflicts of interest associated w/ advertiser, corporate underwriting or government funding. It's news to me that the Ford Foundation is a DSA front.

to invade Ukraine, question the legitimacy of the rapes and torture on October 7, and go out of their way to provide a forum for those who agree with their agenda, without ever providing an opposing point of view, that is propaganda.

Being independently funded has nothing to do with their bias, agenda, or reliability.

it has a very left-leaning bias and chooses stories that promote its agenda.
