Is NewsNation a reliable news outlet?

I always confuse it with NewsMax (I have the same problem with all the Daily's—Daily Wire, Daily Beast, Daily Caller, etc.).

While they are historically a centrist TV news outfit on the NextStar flagship station,
editors noticed a shift to right-wing content.

NewsNation is more news aggregator than original news gatherer.
It helps to look at the original reporting.

would start some discussions more from a GOPer standpoint and then bring in the Democratic side. Several times I just changed the channel before the Dem discussion. Other times, they'd start with Dem side.

Haven't watched them recently. They did have a pretty good panel discussion on Friday nights that included political comedians and others.

I would not automatically discount them, but I'd want to see the whole discussion to see if they pivoted too much covering their asses.

It's more like a very low rent CNN. And the comparison with CNN is kind of unfair to them.
