Has ANYONE noticed the complete blackout on the huge anti-ALEC demonstration in Chicago last week?

Even Rachel didn't cover it, which makes me very afraid that they are being muzzled.

The notorious ALEC held it 40th Anniversary party and Strategy Session (I have their complete agenda)

in Chicago at the famous Palmer House Hotel last Thursday. It was HUGE, at least Two Thousand people

plus, big for that kind of thing on a weekday -- I was there, it was big and NOISY and a few protesters were even arrested.

Only one Local station mentioned it at all, and what REALLY shocked me was that not ONE of even the most

progressive anchors (think Rachel and Chris Hayes) said a WORD about it.

ALEC is having a HUGE influence on our laws -- The "Stand Your Ground" law that helped kill Trayvon Martin

was written by ALEC as well as the Voter ID laws....Right now they're getting ready to start Fracking all over the

country, threatening our water supply.

There is NO greater fan of Rachel, Chris Hayes and the true progressives on that station,

me, but if she and the others are being muzzled on ALEC, I honestly think we're doomed.

P.S. I got hold of ALEC's agenda for their big meeting and I can give you the link if you're interested.

We have anti trust laws. Until these corporations are broken up there will be no reporting that is unfavorable to their corporate owners.

Gather the torches and pitchforks and met me at the drawbridge. Electronically of course, if the MSM would cover it on their own, we should help.

I first saw this on a progressive site whose name I cannot now remember, but I just googled "Inside Alec" and got the link.

This provides YEARS of their "agendas".

Please excuse me if I don't post anymore tonite, as I'm not feeling well.

Rachel Maddow and Chris Hayes are two people I really believed in as true progressives, and still do, personally.

I knew the MSNBC Powers That Be wouldn't let them cover EVERYTHING, but they seem to be clamping down even harder

I love Rachel, especially, and have had her DVR'd for years, but I'm finding it harder and harder to stay interested in her shows

as they seem to cover Social Issues ONLY, as do those of Chris Hayes...What makes it worse is that they frequently

overlap...I really do NOT need to hear about an "event" (presidential press conference, etc.) all night on three or four different shows!

I think Ed Schultz may be the only MSNBC anchor (and he, of course, has been cut to two weekend shows a week)

who is "allowed" to speak on Economic/Union/Alec and Money issues....I just saw his show tonight and though it didn't

cover ALEC, it may tomorrow and it did feature Union issues, the Koch Brothers Secret Annual Meeting in New Mexico and OTHER

economic issues like the nation-wide moves to CUT the pensions of firefighters and police officers who have invested

in them for THIRTY Years, while giving Wall Street Free Reign.
