WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Satellite images from last week show movement at North Koreas main nuclear site that could be associated with the reprocessing of radioactive material into bomb fuel, a U.S. think tank said on Tuesday.
Any new reprocessing activity would underscore the failure of a second summit between U.S. President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in Hanoi in late February to make progress toward North Koreas denuclearization.
Washingtons Center for Strategic and International Studies said in a report that satellite imagery of North Koreas Yongbyon nuclear site from April 12 showed five specialized railcars near its Uranium Enrichment Facility and Radiochemistry Laboratory.
It said their movement could indicate the transfer of radioactive material.

(3,304 posts)2. This is a familiar pattern with CSIS
They promote a hardline at the negotiating table, the all or nothing approach which is certain to fail, and then complain about the potential consequences, in an effort to escalate matters further. But their concern is feigned because it means their big sponsors among the defense contractors can continue their cash cow arms race in northeast Asia. And the money keeps rolling in.
