Do you ever start conversations with other veterans you see, out and about?

I just had the nicest chat with a Korean War combat veteran. (He was wearing an identifying hat.) The woman in front of us at the check out line was having 'issues' so we were there a while.

Anyway, it was really nice to have such a pleasant conversation with a complete stranger.

Far too many veterans who should know better are devotees of the orange one who skipped out on military service, and calls veterans "suckers and losers".

I don't want to mix it up with that degenerate crowd, no matter how stellar their service record may be.

Maybe if I'm at the VA in the waiting room, but never when we shop locally. It's ot worth the hassle.
