Thanks to a poll conducted by the Vet Voice Foundation, we know one of the best ways you can show your support for veterans this Veterans Day: stand with them in opposition of plans to privatize VA hospital programs and services.

According to the poll:

* 64% of veterans oppose privatization, and that includes a majority of Republicans and Democrats alike.

* Almost 75% of veterans who have reported using a VA hospital oppose privatization schemes.

* Over 57% of veterans, including a majority of Republicans, would be less likely to vote for a candidate who supported privatizing VA care.

The findings are clear: health care is a promise made to our veterans, and after two wars in 14 years, a record number of veterans need care -- the VA is where the experts are, and we need to strengthen, not weaken, this system.
