And it is memoirs of a German soldier who fought 41 months in Russia. And in this battle afterwards with Russian infantry who were wounded , the Wehrmacht was supplying there soldiers with rations. And the German soldiers shared rations with Russian wounded prisoners doing battle rhzev from 1942 to 43 if I read correctly.
Out of hate brutality a moment of compassion is what I gather perhaps understanding. governments cause this stupid shit.

Nothing like trying to stabilize and evac a wounded insurgent while his buddies are still trying to kill you
