Wish the pic was better but these fellas are really skittish and I could only get so close when the fam started crawling up on the log...once they were all kind of settled and Jr. had nudged his way onto the log, I quickly snapped the pic.
Shortly thereafter, when I made a slight adjustment to see if I could get closer, they all slid off...

(11,847 posts)It looks like the Evolution Of Turtles just goes from small turtle to larger turtle, and so on. I think this evolutionary branch is reaching the limit of its path.
