(152,069 posts)You and I are close to the same age. I have to say that I would never go back to work, NEVER. Not under any circumstances.
Maybe you have more energy than I do. I wouldn't be surprised if you did.
I LOVE being retired. I play on DU and facebook. I take pictures. I write poetry, and read it in public. I try to get it published...
I travel.
I take naps...
Like that.
Do you really want to put yourself into the hands of an employer again?
Do you want to give up your precious freedom?
I sure don't.
YMMV.
Give it a lot of very careful thought......and I know you will.

(136,043 posts)If I did what you do, I wouldn't THINK of it, but I don't, I just do DU, and a bit more travel now than since I retired 6 years ago; took a long time to obtain funds I was due. Planning a bit more, as in 50th High School reunion in September!
Sounds like we may have comparable energy, considering what you do. AND this is why I've posted, wondering about the 'burdens' in Montessori. Its clearly nothing like public school.
Will certainly think, and consult, etc., as I do!
EDIT: COULD just start the Program: http://www.montessoritraining.net/preschool_kindergarten/course_content.htm
Doing so would likely tell me how far I could/would/should go, you think?

(30,947 posts)But I was already past retirement age, so I did not even bother to look for another job. But I am bored. It is nice sleeping late, but I really miss going to work.
