Related: About this forumI got a 'personal invite' to a financial services seminar, do they check your ID when you get there?
I know 95% of these 'personal invites' are scams, but if I RSVP, do I have to show any ID besidrs the 'Personal Invitation?'

(6,953 posts)Theres no legal requirement. If youve got a postcard invite just take it. They may ask for DL but hey, we seniors can be forgetful. Lol
Some will ask. Most will just so damn happy that someone wants to listen they thank you for being there whoever you are.

Even if you do not bite (figuratively) during their presentation, you can expect to hear from them into the future.
If you go, I hope you enjoy the dinner.
