Most of us have always known that there were "warrior women", especially those of us of Scandinavian heritage. This, however, is quite amazing.

not sure a woman i read about in my 1891 encyclopedia britannica books is in there. ruled some principality. basically kicked her husband out. she sounded very uppity.
