Women's World
Related: About this forumWill it be up to women to get the gun issue in this country taken seriously?
The men do not seem to be able to do anything except take money from the NRA or "pray" for 30 seconds. Since most of the current admin and Congress is ruled by men it looks like they are not willing to do anything about this. How do women change this scenario when we aren't in the position of power (representation in government, business, etc.)? This is about gender in the US male culture/society. I guess that despite being the majority gender in the US, we are still a minority of second class citizens without a voice. Will women be blamed for not raising their sons to be more anti violence and anti "macho"?

(374 posts)With politics! Women are reasonable and nurturing and more willing to compromise than most of their male counterparts. Men let their egos and testosterone influence their decision-making.
