Lavisha Reynolds - Still in Custody (Castile's Girlfriend)

http://www.mndailynews.com/local/32508-community-member-%E2%80%98what-do-we-do-when-we-encounter-them-%E2%80%99.html

Anyone hooked into the community in this area?

All google searches/reports show she was taken into custody last night.

They ALSO took her daughter - which seems like some sort of intimidation/cps harassment thing is going to occur.

Anyone think of anything we could do to help her? I'm worried she's in their house of horrors - we've got to get her away from those sick bastards.

...accessory after the fact to "driving while black with a broken tail light". You know, that's a serious offense and it's important to our national security and the future of our nation that we vigorously prosecute any and all violations of this important law. I assume the 5 year old girl will also be charged and, given the severity of this crime - one for which we as society have chosen to punish with the ultimate sentence - given the severity I'm sure she'll be tried as an adult.

Just WTF is wrong with this country when we spend $7million going after HRC because "4 Americans Died" (as is claimed by Republicans) but we don't even lift a finger over deaths like this.

That's not even considering the willful trampling of 2nd amendment rights this week by an authoritarian government force - not once but twice. Where is the NRA's outrage. ( more )

About 5 year old Diamond Reynolds being a 'convicted felon'.

We know how that organization behaves and thinks. They never let us down with the depth of their evil.

There are so many of these goddamned killings that it's become difficult to keep track. We need serious criminal justice reform!

http://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-36732908

A black man has been shot dead by police in the US state of Minnesota as protests continued over the police killing of a black man in Louisiana. Philando Castile's girlfriend live-streamed the St Paul incident's aftermath, showing him covered in blood as an officer pointed his gun at him. He was shot as he reached for his driving licence, she said.

It follows the death of Alton Sterling, who was shot dead by police during an incident in Baton Rouge on Tuesday. Hundreds of people have protested for two nights over Mr Sterling's killing. The deaths follow a long line of high-profile incidents involving African-Americans dying at the hands of the police, igniting a national debate about the use of lethal force. As news of the latest shooting spread, about 200 people protested outside the St Paul home of Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton, who later requested a federal investigation into the shooting.

In a statement on Facebook, President Barack Obama said all Americans "should be deeply troubled" by the two fatal shootings. He said it was clear that they were not isolated incidents but "symptomatic of the broader challenges within our criminal justice system".

... to a 'don't move' order but this was of course after he told him to get his license.

The cop also claims Castile fit the description of someone involved in a crime earlier that week.

This is an example of the BULLSHIT we're tired of; the cops have built in impunity to their consummate over reaction when it comes to blacks were its has been EMPIRICALLY documented is happening too often.

Too many LEOs have no consequence to their actions, matter of fact...they shoot someone they get time off WITH PAY.

What the hell kind of incentive is that to follow procedures !?!?!?

There are some low hanging fruit solutions IMHO that too many LEO depts are NOT wanting to implement to mitigate the disproportionate numbers of blacks being killed by cops in this manner.

Seems Chief Brown from DPD has a lot to say about this
