Azealia Banks is done with President Barack Obama not aligning himself with Black interests. The rapper posted a lengthy Instagram message in response to Obamas message on the Baton Rouge, Louisiana shooting July 17. In a post made the same day, she lashed out at the leader of the free world for making gay marriage legal and issuing reparations for the Holocaust, but not lifting a single finger for the Black community.
You sat in the White House and let your people die in the streets and didnt do a god- thing about it, she wrote.
On Sunday morning, Atlanta Black Star reported via Twitter that a gunman was involved in a shootout with Baton Rouge police, killing three officers. In a statement, Obama called the act unjustifiable.

(78 posts)This... This reads like an Aaron Mcgruder caricature. It really does, and it's disappointing that anyone would run this no-name musician like serious news.

(5,644 posts)I had really bad acne that left spots all over my face, well into my early twenties, bleaching cream helped me greatly. When you are really young, you are very self-conscious of everything about yourself. I would have done anything to keep people from (I thought) staring at me.

(5,644 posts)I guess we all have our own issues. Mine was the dark spots all over my face and her's was her dark face. Still an issue. But then you have White folk using tanning cream to give themselves more color. I guess it's all the same.
