Jesse Williams: We know that police somehow manage to de-escalate, disarm and not kill white people everyday.51-year-old Fort Worth, Texas, man was taken into custody over the weekend after he allegedly choked a female relative and opened fire on responding officers, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.
Larry Trees is facing charges of assault on a family member and two counts of attempted capital murder in the incident, which took place Saturday.
According to the report, officers were responding to a domestic call around 3:30 a.m. Saturday when they were greeted by a man armed with a shotgun. Seconds later, the man shot at both officers, officials say.

It was either his skin-color that saved him, or the cops were "afraid" of bad press and were extra careful.
