If you advocated for Hillary Clinton, and/or you donated, and/or you voted...
If you believe you did the best that you could do, then rest at ease,
as you did what you could and the results aren't your fault! We will all get to watch our worse nightmare come true....
what we kept telling those with hard heads could happen if they didn't roll up their sleeves.
-----------------
For those KneeGrows who got hung up on the Super predator bullsht or chose to follow Cornell West, Nina (whatever her name is) an' them, or your White friends told you it didn't matter who won, or you decided not to vote to send a "message" to the "establishment", or you just didn't feel like voting cause you had better things to do...., or you weren't that excited voting for the White lady, so you didn't; enjoy the upcoming world that you helped build!
Will there be a revolution? Doubt it
And if there is, are you willing to die in it? Doubt it
Instead, many of your brothers and sisters will be going to private prisons, enriching the 1%, and possibly get used as labor to build the Trump Wall, if they aren't killed first in some unexplained way. Many of the people that you may know as the downtrodden will no longer have food stamps to feed their kids or preventive healthcare to keep them from dying earlier than they needed to. Young children will have their dignity assaulted and their safety in jeopardy, and will never come out of the circumstances they were born into, no fault of their own.
So close your eyes at night, after having kissed your kids or your loved one good night and understand this; not only did you make a difference for the very worse in the lives of millions, you get to watch everybody, including the innocent suffer. Enjoy the fruits of your self indulgence! You earned it! You won!
Just sayin'....

(68,868 posts)It's reality!
Unity now is a bit late....
And some are still trying to say...."told you so", with a smugness that shows their clueless-ness!
They are pointing at everyone else as being at fault except for the man/woman in the mirror!
But had they really seen the future, their asses would have done the right thing BEFORE the fact of
an election that has no do over.
So I'm just keeping it real!
Next time they vote, perhaps they won't be so blind that it ain't about voting for your BFF that aligns 100%
with one's view. Or maybe they won't. Perhaps no lesson will be learned, in which case, we'll be doing it again,
and again, and again, until we are all dead!

Sorry, but for me, it is important that they know that I know what they have done.
there will be no fake asses around me rationalizing what cannot be rationalized!
Unity will only come if they choose to unite due to their better understanding as to their real choices.....
not their perceived choices.
Unity won't come because we dare not to mention what is obvious!

(15,485 posts)But I cannot rest easy - and never will so long as DT is anywhere near the WH.
I will continue to protest these election results and all DT appointments I have seen so far as loudly and as frequently as I can.
As for those who voted for DT or who did not vote for Hillary because she wasn't "pure" enough to meet their "superior" standards, they are NOT my "friends."
I may "love" them generically as part of humanity, but I do not like them at all. I consider that they have either directly or indirectly endorsed hatred, racism, sexism, bigotry and injustice - most of which could affect me personally or my children or my grandchildren and so on, as well as so many others I know and love - who are truly deserving of that love. Until those people say or do something that indicates to me that they regret the terrible choices that they made and are willing to do everything they can to join in the never-ending struggle against those evils, they are anathema to me.
