What happened in Ferguson is that a man committed a robbery, attempted to assault a police officer, and the police officerto save his lifeshot him. The police officer did his duty. The officer should be commended for what he did. Rudy Giuliani on Fox News, March 12, 2015
Except none of that happened.
After a documentarian released video this past weekend that dispels the myth of the Mike Brown corner-store robbery, more information is emerging about the n-word-using patrolman who was accused of racial discrimination and excessive force even before he pumped at least six bullets into Brown on Aug. 9, 2014, killing him. New court papers reveal that Brown never tried to take the officers gun, never struck the officer and did not initiate any contact with Wilson, who was cleared of wrongdoing by a secret grand jury in November 2014. . . .

(595 posts)This type of incident continues unabated because the White majority cannot fathom that it might be true. As long as the official story says it didn't happen, then all they care about is blue lives matter. To this cop, and many others I would surmise, the young man was weaponized by the sheer fact of being a black male. By being alive, this cop felt Brown was dangerous and deserved the treatment he got.

I am glad the true story of Michael Brown's murder is coming out. I doubt that it will gain widespread acceptance in the white or blue communites, but if even a few people reconsider the circumstance, maybe it will help them stay woke. Buying into the "scary Black male" in even a few cases makes it easier for the murders of Black men to be normalized.
