the story (OP) of the black investor

harrassed by the woman who called the police on him REALLY gets my blood boiling. And for those AT THAT OP excusing her harassment of this man trying to do his job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! a double, triple boil over. mad: And for the 'splainer in that OP to say they can tell by looks what a black person might be ready to do is an implicit racist explanation of their take on ALL AA. How does a "criminal look"?

Thank you for your posting the stories abour fragile white people. It's good to have a single reliable heading to identify these outrages.

farfetched is the word I use. Fear is the only thing driving implicit/complicit ameriKKKan racism.
I feel we as a country/people can come together and hopefully start working on important problems affecting the world like climate change, global warming, homelessness, starvation, S.A. running out of water, war instead of worrying about the color of someone's skin color, dress, language and/or how that person is thinking at any given moment. But what do I know...

We were a trusted world leader at one time in science and any other positive area one may think of in the advancement of humankind. We lead the world now in one area only, racist hate.

what seemed like every white person on Facebook decided that killing a 12 year old boy playing with A TOY GUN in 2 seconds was justified.

Murdering a child... That was a bar I never would have believed people would fail to clear, but so many crawled under it.

But there is always a reason in their minds. They will always find something.

The real reason is that they are perfectly comfortable having the police enforce the second class citizen status of all non white non-Christians

to steal a child's potential like that, on someone's CALL TO THE POLICE. I really got sad, mad then committed to not letting the killers walk away free without at least a comment. He MIGHT have become POTUS one day and probably against all odds. He might have found a way to make life easier, understandable, safer.

The comments on other sites must have been horrendous. I don't do twit or face.

Tamir hurt.

"And for those AT THAT OP excusing her harassment of this man trying to do his job!"

Though DU has its share of embedded trolls, I have to conclude that a few DUers are simply not as genuine or progressive as they (and much more often than anyone else) allege.

Race seems to be the one topic these half-wits (no-- can't risk the hide, we'll refer to them amicably as "completely full of wit" ) can't avoid making into a hot mess, and outing themselves as close-minded.

15. To a lot of people, "Progressive" ends at things like labor unions
Wed May 16, 2018, 06:05 PM

and I think labor unions are important, though there's been racism in labor unions as well. Ideally, labor unions would help all working people, even if that isn't how they've operated in the past.

But they see any talk about racism as turning away white voters who would vote with Democrats if the focus were only on things like labor unions and the minimum wage. And, to be fair, I do think there are a lot of white voters who vote for Republicans solely because it's the white supremacist party.

Also, most white people in the US grew up in environments where they were only or almost only ever around white people. The majority of white people in the US grew up in towns and school systems where they really never came into contact with people of color, or maybe only slightly came into contact with one or two, and then often in a service capacity. Even progressive people who grew up in circumstances like that have to work to overcome that upbringing, even if they're highly motivated. It takes work. Racism does not go away by ignoring it, no matter what people might say. (And I know everyone in the Af Am group knows that.)

the transparency surrounding the "completely full of wit" individuals is apparent here and most on DU proceed accordingly, like you, I and GOTV liberals and progressives. True, not worth a hide
