Too often there are structural obstacles hampering POC from taking advantage of opportunities present.
So I'm glad to see progress wherever I can find it.

(8,709 posts)I couldn't have returned to natural and stayed this way without them. Years ago, I thanked Goddess for the Internet because they're few and far between where I am, but one opened up in our shopping area a year ago and was praying for them for selfish reasons. The shop is doing quite well. The owner says her success is thanks to Latinas, as well.

(34,405 posts)over the last 10 years. Even with a womans head/ hair covered, you know darn well her hair is still styled underneath. It's a sensible business practice.
