Sen Harris, WOC & speaking in public...

I posted a thread in primary forum this AM. I saw this happened yesterday, and no one else had said anything yet.

::sigh::
Thread.

Anda tweet that highlights that guys' action

Jim Bazán (@JamesBazan) Tweeted:
@loisbeckett "I have to take your microphone because these WOC are asking trivial questions."
Stuntavists stunt from exactly their places of privilege.

An article that is speaking to the issue, I think it's a good read

I truly hope her security people step way up. It's not like a California guy killed a US Senator before.

It had a much different outcome and was discussed a lot. Although I admire the boldness of the activism it really doesn't add to the useful discussion and is a clear safety issue. But the difference in responses is also clear. Kamala and Bernie responses were the same, both gave up the mic and stepped away. The black women who took the mic from Bernie were not muscled off the stage though. That would have been a bad look.

And more white males have been the shooters then WOC.
Campaigns & Dem Party & those running events need to be looking hard at these type of security issues.
