Whole lot of privilege here. She got to live

https://nypost.com/2019/07/31/oklahoma-woman-debra-hamil-sparks-wild-police-chase-after-resisting-arrest

Sorry I can't get the video separately.

Snip-"When the cop orders Hamil to step out of the car, she shoots back, “Why?,” prompting the cop to tell her: “Because you’re under arrest.”

“No I’m not,” Hamil boldly replies as she locks her doors and rolls up the window, the video shows.

Seconds later, Hamil cracks the window to shout, “You be fair with me and I’ll be fair with you” as she continues to refuse his orders.

When the officer tells her, “I’m placing you under arrest,” she barks, “You are full of s–t because you are not placing me under no damn arrest.”

she refused to sign the ticket, cussed out the cop and drove off. He chased her, when she stopped, he pulled her out of the car, she fought back, kicking and cussing again. He tased her to get her to stop fighting him.

She did all the wrong things and lived.
Enough POC do all the right things and die anyway.

4. I didn't see the part where she wouldn't sign the ticket. Not smart.

She bought a lot of trouble down on herself for that. Doesnt make much sense. It's a ticket. We've all been there. Gotta just take it and move on, or go to court about it.

I can't pull it up now and don't remember if there was a cut in the video... but my memory is that he jumped too fast to "get out of the car". I would have expected him to say "you need to understand that signing the ticket does not mean that you're admitting that you're guilty... but if you refuse to sign the ticket I'm going to be forced to arrest you"

Otherwise - she was completely to blame for what happened.

Debra Hamil: 65-year-old woman becomes aggressive with officer after refusing to sign ticket
Posted: 5:38 AM, Jul 31, 2019 Updated: 10:02 AM, Jul 31, 2019

Snip-"Video shows Hamil was not willing to pay up when a police officer issued the ticket for a broken tail light.

When the officer asked her to step out of her vehicle, she refused, told him he was "full of sh**," driving off and leading the officer on a brief pursuit.

Hamil eventually pulled over in a parking lot, and the officer approached her vehicle with his gun pulled. The officer then pulled Hamil out of her truck, and she was caught on camera kicking him in the groin and resisting arrest.

The officer deployed his stun gun after she refused to put her hands behind her back, finally placing her under arrest."

I become absolutely mute, I get anxiety when a cop is even behind me. Some of these people are crazy. I hope she learned a lesson.
