1. Yes, that's right, but I wouldn't overlook the progress that's been made... I know it's been slow.

Slow is not it. One step forward, two back in my lifetime. And my parents, grandparents, great-grandparents and ex-slaves would agree, it's been slow. 74 million plus, maybe somewhat less now, but all those racist POS tell me...well...good luck...equality WILL NEVER be an American ideal realized.

We had two blacks in the boarding school in Turkey... We elected one of them as our homecoming queen because she was more beautiful and talented than anyone else. My parents never made a racist remark. In Hawaii, we were the only whites in our Filipino church. We certainly can be a multicultural, multiracial society and like it that way. I guess I'm proof!

For a beginning, we need to spread the word that you can't be a real Christian if you're racist, since Christians seem to account for a lot of racism.

Christians have always been responsible for a lot of racist hate in ameerika. I was a Southern Baptist at one time until told my white significant other could not sit with me in church services. I grew up in the Army also. Armor. Am a veteran also.

7. The problem with Christianity: both the gospels and Paul's letters make it clear that there are two

Levels of understanding, the outer, stated messages and the hidden understanding known to the "perfect" (initiates). Current American Christianity doesn't even qualify for the "children" level! Scripture outright states, you must love others, even your enemy, so churches are failing to try for even the expressed instructions. Forget about being able to analyze the truths hidden in the parables. At least those can be accessed, whereas Paul says he's not telling the mystery. So, they grab onto faith, grace, forgiveness... things Paul states, so they can't be the hidden truths.

I should write a book, but I'm so lazy...

if you want to write a book, you will. The hypocrisy of American religious denominations has been revealed. Especially given their support of the ex-potus. That must be shoved in their face constantly. The Christian group I allow myself to relate to is so far, a group concerned about the hypocrisy of some denominations and the hate and division they have helped to spread. I hope to see that love grace and or forgiveness. But I doubt it. To say God sent that clown, says to me God is a hateful racist.
