I have been on Threads since its inception. Post election - Black Women are connecting with The92Percent, BlackWomenUnite, BlackWomen, etc. etc.
What I'm finding/learning by these connections with other black women?
I'm not alone.
We are sick and tired of this shit.
America has taken our political labor without reward for far too long.
Most important - people are all up in their feelings over black women in America 'tapping out'.
I get it . . . There are folks out there that want to erase our significance in the party. They truly believe by not speaking to any of our issues, they can get Magats to vote Democratic.
Truth be told - if that was the truth - then they would have listened to VP Harris and Gov Walz and voted for their own interests in this election. They didn't.
And I don't believe for one minute that the price of eggs had anything to do with it. Those folks consumed media and social media that told them:
Harris wants gender changing operations to take place in elementary schools.
Harris is a war hawk.
Harris hates Palestine and Israel at the same time.
Feel free to add your own thoughts.
They mathed nonsensical math - and yes - they are fucking deplorable idiots and that's the TRUTH.
And if their feelings are getting hurt by that - it's not MY PROBLEM.
It's not any of our problem anymore. That's all. That's the post.
Thanks for coming to my TED Talk.

(801 posts)If they dont want to save themselves. If you mention the majority of white women voted for the worst excuse for a human being thats ever run for president, the screaming and deflection starts. We cannot have that necessary conversation so there will be no change.

(33,778 posts)Between that and the Southern White Lady scam where they are starting a rumor that black women are trying to jump them (zero truth that) - I just can't anymore.
I'm just going to sit over here and mind my own business! Stepping back and not getting involved is one's prerogative right?
