well, here's a cure for my irish blues.

so, i got an ancestry kit, even tho i have a dna file, cuz those mormons....
i have a tree on my heritage based on my uploaded file. i have a sparse tree on ancestry, but several close kin i'm already hooked up. the kit came w some months for $1.
i knew it wouldnt be hard.
got the tube here, and i log in to activate, and lordy there's a whole big tree sitting there. way more than enough to get my passport and get this show on the road.

big step closer to home.

Always makes me laugh at myself because my Irish ass is this full of himself, self deprecating, and self aware.

DNA doesn't matter. If your parent or grandparent were born there is the best way to get a passport. My maternal grandparents were born there and my wife and I have been dual citizens since 1999. We have lived in Ireland and England but have been back in the states since late 2008. We may move back.

i checked online the other day w the number they gave me, and they dont even have that update.
