I'm wandering around at " Stop, You're killing me" and I find Janet Evanovich and print her info
so I can order from my local library. I have finally learnded to start at the beginning of series...
She won a hell of a lot of awards up to 2002. Did she then pee in someone's shoe?
What happened to Stephanie Plum?

Sorry I can't help with what happened to Stephanie Plum, but I have a friend whose husband has read every one of the books, so I will see if he knows what happened.

The most recent, "Notorious Nineteen" was a real disappointment. I almost didn't finish it. I do think that Janet Evanovich has done everything she possibly can with the characters, and ought to just end the series. Write something else.

(46,179 posts)hasn't grown. She still, 18 books in, can't manage anything on her own and can't decide between the two men in her life. I don't see what either of them see in her. Evanovich might be able to breathe some life back into the series if she makes Grandma Mazur the star and retires Stephanie to something she's more suited to; something that requires very little in the way of brain cells or skills.
I say 18 books in, because I didn't read the 19th, so I don't know that she hasn't had some life-changing revelation. I doubt it.
