So far it's excellent.

I'm also reading "Unnatural Selection" by Mara Hvistendahl, about the consequences of widespread sex selection of babies. That is also very good so far.

Saw the post a couple of weeks ago here and it intrigued me as I'd never heard of it before and it sounded like I should have. A few chapters in and the quiet, reserved prose and observations remind me a bit of Sinclair Lewis: very matter of fact, but precisely paced and with emotions seen through a looking glass of some sort.

Listening: _The Wise Man's Fears_ by Patrick Rothfuss. Big, messy fantasy book--will finish it this evening. It would clearly have made more sense to split this into a couple of books, but Rothfuss kind of set himself up in the first book to a three book arc--one for each day of the telling--so he had to fit a couple, or three, very different adventures in one book. Still, I'm enjoying it.

a new one by C. J. Box, another new one by M. C. Beaton.

Took them back to the library without reading them. Also took some back about North Korea.

Too much news - Boston, Texas fire, Cleveland, etc., IRS, Benghazi.

Another thing now are the charges coming out against the White House. This is junk made up to get even with the gun law attempts. They intend to drive him either to quitting or being impeached. I hate them thugs, and I don't hardly hate anybody or anthing.

So, I've gone back to my soulmate - James Doss, and am rereading stuff that makes me feel good. Lord knows there's not enough of that around. I loved Shadow Man last week, and right now am half way thru with Stone Butterfly, and intend to go to the end - the 16th book in the series.

Got my neighbor addicted and she's about on the 7th book. Got an email yesterday from Enthusiast, somebody who doesn't post, but happens to read Fiction, saw my going on and on about Doss, tried him, and he and his wife are stuck on him too. He's buying his from Amazon or online somewhere.
