Hilarious characters. Bungling and screw ups all over the place. I didn't know what to expect, since this author is supposed to be a crime novelist, but this is not what I thought it would be. Very entertaining.

The characters in Strip were so funny, I am hooked. I have to try more of his.

to go through and decide which ones are appropriate for the shelves in my middle school classroom. Some will be decided by physical condition. Old, somewhat fragile paperbacks won't last through more than one or two readings by a teenager. Some will be decided by content. I probably won't put out the stuff by Dante or Plato, although I might pull them out for a specific student who was interested and able. I don't ever put anything on the shelves I haven't read myself.

Surprisingly enough, there's a Judy Blume book in the pile I haven't read before: Tiger Eyes. I'm starting with that.

Pretty interesting about "hiccups, coughs, yawns, sneezes, and other lowly, undignified human behaviors".

Excellent so far halfway through. Reviews say author is worthy addition to Greene, Ambler and le Carre. Agree with them.
