After hearing of the terrible tragedy of the 19 firefighters dying

it reminded me of a vivid book I read a few years ago that I might re-read now. The book was very intense about fighting wildfires and I remember finding out how unpredictable these fires can be when they inexplicably shift.

The book was one by Nevada Barr.
