Romanovs..1613 to 1918...Simon Sebag Montefiore

A gripping look at the History of the Russian Tsars from the time of Ivan the Terrible to the fall of Nicholas II. A richly detailed look into the lives of this family, the people they ruled, and how it came to form the Soviet Union and its eventual rule. The last pages give great insight to the person Vladimir Putin became and which Tsar he admired most of all.

I HIGHLY recommend reading this immense biographical book.
