We have many rabbits in the neighborhood. I had two in a nest in the back yard, so I tried to add extra grass when it rained. The momma didn't mind. I always think of Hazel when I see them hopping about.

We have found a hole covered in leaves and rabbit fur containing baby bunnies. (My Lab almost did away with one of them). We enjoy seeing them hopping around in our yard, although our garden has a fence around it and is off limits to them! I've always liked rabbits for some reason .... we had a pet rabbit many years ago, one of those lop eared ones.

I need to buy a copy of WD to give to a friend so she will understand what I am asking/saying when I say things like - "Do you have time to silflay?" or "Oh hraka".

have shared it with my animal loving son, but it was a bit much for his young mind. couldn't imagine rabbits being mean to each other!

I think it sounds very cool:

(I don't know what fatherly is..it doesn't seem right wing although the name has a family values like vibe which is something I am usually leery of ).

of my Millennial coworkers about “Watership Down.” They were a bit shocked when I showed them a few clips. More so when I told them it was shown in prime time and aimed at children 😆. A couple of them said they were going to watch it in coming weeks. I’ll have to check and see if they’ve done so yet.
