A history related pun

While driving around Southern England a while back, we were in Hastings. Some big event happened there in 1066.
As we were driving into town we say a concrete truck on the road. The name of the company?
"William the Concreter"

Too bad it isn't a public company then there would be pictures like statues and paintings you can readily share.

My cousin, who was terrible at history, told me he remembered the date of the Battle of Hastings (more of a slaughter than a battle!) because a character in a porn movie he saw referred to the event.

Knowledge. Whatever it takes to learn, I guess.
