Sunday Funnies

I asked last week to name your favorites and least favorites but only got 2 replies. I think after reading
all the funnies people had forgotten my request at the top so it's partly my fault for the few replies as
I should have put my question at the bottom.

I need to cut back on a few things or eliminate them from my schedule. Am currently doing all the
cooking & cleaning while looking after my 95 year old mother and need a little time off for myself.

So if I resume doing these there will be fewer, also open to anybody else taking over posting these
once a week if anybody would like to. I'll furnish you with all my hints, tips, & secrets to publish these.
Takes just shy of an hour to gather & post. Here's a reminder of all of them from my template.

Thank you for spreading the joy. It’s so important to not overlook your own needs when you are a caregiver. I’m a caregiver and I need to start heeding my own advice 🙂. Hope your mom is doing well.

Either my tablet was the culprit (most likely) or it doesn't get along with DU'S software. I tend to like the ones from back in the sixties: Andy Cap; Beetle Bailey; Bizarro; Blondie; Dennis the Menace; BC; For Better or Worse; Garfield; Hagar the Horrible; Hi and Lois; Crankshaft; Broom Hilda; Mother Goose and Grimm; Peanuts; Pickles.

However, it sounds like you might have your hands full 🌝. Maybe taking a break would be in your best interest. I will miss the funnies, but taking care of yourself should come first. Caregiving is a very heavy load. Our society doesn't provide anything in the way of meaningful support.

Wishing you and your mom the very best.

I, for one, love the comics you post, and really appreciate the hard work that goes into it. I've often wondered where you find the time...and now I see that it's coming at a cost. Please, don't allow it to interfere with your mother's care; family first, and all that. She's lucky to have you (and you, her!).

Anyway, since you asked, while I read all of what you post, I do occasionally shake my head at some of the older ones (even though I'm A OLD myself), and personally, I like the stuff that's a little off-center. So if you're looking for opinions as to what to keep, here's my personal favorites (and I'm afraid it's still a long list, so do with it what you will, I won't be offended!).
