(5,209 posts)allowed to drive for another month. Im at the mercy of begging rides from others for appointments. All last fall I was ordering online but currently the prices are outrageous, if the product is even in stock. Check toilet paper on Amazon. So this week after my dr appt I asked my friend to take me to the cvs to buy some. The shelves were bare. So we tried another and I bought 3 packs. There was plenty left so I was not totally hoarding. But Im good for a while now. Never take such things for granted. I think that picture is me.

(34,195 posts)As well as groceries, I buy paper towels, TP, batteries, over the counter medications, etc.
Other store chains also deliver locally (Kroger and their affiliated brands, Target, etc)

(5,209 posts)Ive been ordering thru Walmart but lately the TP pickings for delivery are slim and the expensive.
I agree, when things are in stock its a big help. We dont have the other brands you mentioned. We have a small local market that delivers for $5 but I keep forgetting to order on a Tues for Thurs delivery. Ive gotten spoiled by ordering whenever I needed something. Ive also gotten spoiled with free delivery. Hopefully things will calm down and products will become available. If not I will get my wheels back in April! Even though I have good friends who help I miss that independence.

Does this mean they don't know their ass from a hole in their face? Let me guess how they voted in '16.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
