I also listen to the progressive political talk channel, and the only music I listen to is the Beatles channel, the classical music channel and the Metropolitan Opera channel. But mostly I listen to the progressive channel, the oldies radio show channel and the Beatles channel. That quote you offered is an indication that perhaps the oldies radio show channel sometimes is a progressive channel too. That quote is a pearl of wisdom that certainly has relevance and value now, decades later. I don't listen to the comedy shows, though, except for "The Life of Riley." I'm on the lookout for that show and the dramas, especially the science fiction ones like "Dimension X" and "Inner Sanctum". I'm a big fan of the creaking door. Shucks, I'm rambling. I'll shut up now.

(1,923 posts)Just fyi, you can stream Sirius to your computer or phone for free or not that much more ... depending on the plans involved. I've been listening to it while working much more than in the car. Easier than finding internet radio stations that are as good
