We are all well aware of the war, and many of us who post in this group also post OPs about the war. But we come here for a break and community.

You're welcome to join us for Sherman A1's frequent morning jokes, but please understand that we like to start our days with a laugh. As far as I'm concerned, his posts are a gift to DU.

I feel bad because the person I was responding to was making a joke that we all misread. I was trying to stand up for ShermanA1 in case he found that post hurtful and in the process I ended up hurting someone else.

I was impressed by how gentle you were. I can't see where you'd have any lasting regrets from that exchange.

That does make me feel better.

The Mapleleaf Ragweed is pretty good, too.

Edit: Huh..looks like he has stopped posting the daily humor thread. Well that kinda sucks..I liked it as well as those funny national days...I am slammed till July but had just stuck my head in to check out his daily humor thread..hoping he changes his mind.
