reason is no longer a part of reality hesitating and wavering
redefining the motion of minutes at the heart of the atoms
science cannot be given finality as we celebrate the savoring
reckoning knows no outer limits even as the electron hums
to live in a universe losing balance rotating on a broken axis
a swirl of galaxies interconnected the synapses of the brain
move microseconds with no malice of no failure nor success
a supernatural never detected no matter that meters strain
down dark deep inside are lies or truths men cannot accept
holding heaven and hell and souls solemn scared and sacred
in the mask of a terrible disguise that lives can never reject
wings of feathers or burning coals birth and death still naked
prayers and sermons proudly didactic uttered by human lips
as whispers of every ghost subtracted from the mother’s hips
